Wendy Forrest had lived on the beautiful North Wales coast all her life and shared her home with her husband. They had a son, who was father to Riley and Bodhi, and a daughter, who was mother to Owen and Rosa.
She had written a few short children’s stories about her grandchildren’s and niece’s adventures.
The following story, Owen & Rosa’s Big Adventure, was her first. It tells the tale of their day out in Newborough Warren on the Isle of Anglesey, North Wales, on a very windy day.
Owen & Rosa’s Big Adventure is a heart-warming children’s story inspired by a real family day out on the beautiful Isle of Anglesey, North Wales. Join clever big brother Owen and his cheeky little sister Rosa as they explore the beach, tumble in the sand, and discover just how much fun an adventure with Nonna and Popps can be. Written in a playful, rhyming style and full of laughter, this delightful tale is perfect for sharing with young children.
