Tim Owen
I was born in Hull and am a lifelong Hull City supporter, which has understandably imbued my poems with a certain melancholy. I have a deep interest in dogs, British rock bands, fish and chips, the occult and art. I feel that many people think poetry is not for them because many poems are hard to understand, rather dense and often a little pretentious. I have tried to make my poems as simple and direct as possible, hopefully in order to appeal to everyone, including children.
