Tim Hurd makes his home near the mouth of the Columbia River, where most of his stories originate. He attended UC Berkeley, earned his BA at CSU Sacramento, and studied Creative Writing in the MFA program at Pacific University. He is the founder of Columbia River Coffee Roaster, and co-founder of The River Theater, where he wrote and directed the stage play, The Sweet Scent of Apples.
