Thomas Briggs

Tom Briggs is an author, sailor, and veteran of Iraq and ‎Afghanistan. He has completed more than ten thousand miles under ‎sail as captain or crew on a variety of boats from New York Harbor ‎to the Caribbean. His professional career has involved working in ‎institutions of higher education and the military intelligence ‎community. Of note, he is nearing retirement in the US Navy ‎Reserve as a Chief Warrant Officer having never served on a naval ‎vessel.‎
