Sommer Roman

Sommer Roman was born and raised in California but has called many places home over the years, including France and Washington D.C. She received her Masters in Fine Art from UC Santa Barbara in 2014. She maintains a multi-disciplinary art practice spanning textile sculpture, mixed media drawings, and children’s illustration. She currently lives on the Central Coast of California with her two children and teaches art at local universities and elementary schools. She loves to witness her children move from boredom to creative play and tries her best not to interrupt those precious flow states.
