A mother, an optimistic realist and romantic at heart, she captures love and loss with unflinching openness. Beyond her writing, Sarah is actively engaged in her community. She serves as a Chamber Ambassador with Southwest Michigan First, is a graduate of Leadership Greater Kalamazoo and is involved in the Junior League of Kalamazoo. She also serves on the Board of Pretty Lake Camp and owns her own Real Estate Brokerage. ‘What Could Have Been’ is her debut poetry collection.
