As a first-generation Bengali-Canadian who grew up and currently resides in Toronto's Regent Park, my upbringing as an immigrant from a low-income family drives my passion for social, economic, and environmental justice. As a new writer based in Canada, my intention was to produce a literary fictional piece of work which upholds and shares such values with the wider world.
