Working with autistic, special needs students the past 30 years inspired me to give something back. Knowing their love for nature and animals, I wanted my students to solve everyday riddles in a fun, cool, and poetic way that would enhance their cognitive skills.
Working with autistic and special needs students for the past 30 years inspired me to give something back and write a series of children’s books that my students could relate to. Knowing their love for animals and nature, I wanted my students to solve simple everyday riddles in a cool, fun and poetic way that would enhance their cognitive skills. Studies show children using critical thinking skills at a young age has long lasting beneficial effects on their lives. This book was fun to do, especially having my kids a part of the vision, and done so effortlessly. Confucius said, “Choose a job you love, and you’ll never work a day in your life,” this is so true. Special thanks to my amazing wife Myra for her love and support. Special thanks to my kids Dillon & Dana for their love and creativity. Special thanks to Victor Gornecki for his majestic illustrations. Written by:Ronald Ceparano Illustrations by: Victor Gornecki Dillon Ceparano Dana Ceparano
