Richard Ernest Mora grew up on the Texas-Mexican border to graduate with an anthropology degree. Pursuant to traditional life, Richard took several industry professional positions that gave way to copywriting and marketing. After working with non-profit organizations with content, Richard began composing literature full time in 2018, where titles of science fiction and graphic ethnography helped paint Richard's eclectic style. Richard also found faith to be primal in his life balancing bipolar disorder which is how Treating Penance found its premise. Father and practicing optimist, Richard writes in a way that speaks to all.
At Corpus Christi Hospital, psychiatrist, Dr. James Pavilion, discovers a surprising connection between faith and modern medicine. When he shares his findings, the medical community dismisses him, sending Jim into a panic that leads to a car accident.
