A Lancastrian born and bred; Ria now calls Hampshire her home. As an avid collector of dragons, Noritake china, tea and coffee pots, fortune telling ephemera and guitars, her home is quite cluttered. Other interests include classic cars, am-dram and spending time with family. She writes short stories and poetry for two magazines and is a writer in residence in another. Ria has written several plays and sketches all performed locally.
The depleted populous of a small Hampshire village are invited to leave their homes due to the dangers of the disease and from the gangs of vicious looters and move to the local Priory which is surrounded by high walls and hedges and can be more easily defended.
