He is presently enjoying his retirement by creating protagonists ‎with authentic voices to depict life experiences in India. His first novel, Last Bench, gives us an ‎endearing, unforgettable character, Vikki, in a coming-of-age story, set against the backdrop of ‎Bangalore in the '70s.‎
