Quixote Crazy is the pen name of Michael Hempstead. He has been an artist since his childhood. His paintings have been exhibited in London, Edinburgh, Vienna, Chicago, Washington DC, Cyprus and Italy. In 2018, he won the London Ultra Award. In 2020, one of his works was in the Sir John Moores Painting Prize Exhibition in Liverpool. He has also worked in theatre as an actor, script-writer and director. He has also been a school teacher, teaching art, drama and creative writing.
