About

P T Jay

The author went straight from school into the army, aged sixteen, ‎in 1983 and left in 1996 as staff sergeant in the Royal Logistics ‎Corps. On demob, he initially settled into a logistics managerial ‎position but then realised that he enjoyed life more behind a ‎steering wheel rather than chained to an office chair. In 2000, he ‎upgraded his Class 2 Licence to Class 1 and has mostly been ‎employed in the ‘tramper' role ever since. Spending most of his ‎time alone gives him plenty of time for the writing spark to ‎germinate and grow.‎
