Norman AJ Berisford, as well as being a poet, is a world renowned expert in architectural science. In 1983, his first published book, A History of Interior Design, is still recognised as a leading manual on the physical and psychological aspects of artificial light. Norman is also an accomplished artist, specialising in water colours, with his work exhibited and sold with the profits going to charities. Norman says that he began to write poetry as a way to relax and it soon became a passion. This is his second book of poems which he describes as being a mixture of wide interest. He shares his life with Margaret, his wife, at his home in Worcestershire.
Norman Berisford's poetry is incredibly charming, evoking a mournful sense of nostalgia while beautifully capturing the joys of nature and an everlasting tint of love.
