Giggling Through Grief
To say grief is a topic for laughter is a statement not often heard, it is by no means complacent, as there are many levels and depths of grief. This is my take on caring for ageing parents, a rare disease, the highs and lows of an unexpected virus and a thousand jokes in between. A familiar scenario of the one parent that's left behind, a scenario that I hope will resonate with many readers, some conversations and even at times, infuriating comments that I am certain will sound all too familiar. Take a deep breath, count to ten and hopefully have a giggle, especially when you realise, you're dealing with this rollercoaster in exactly the same way.
