Originally from Bedfordshire, Nicola currently lives in Hampshire with her overactive imagination. It was whilst researching the Tudor Ruin of Basing House, where she also lived, that she first learned about Joan Larke.
This is her first novel. As long as she can recall, Nicola has been fascinated by history and archaeology, two passions that are essential to her writing. Wolsey's Wife was one of the six shortlisted books in the 2022 Aspects of History Unpublished Novel Competition.
