As an aspiring first-time author, this memoir is quite a departure from my forty-five-plus-year career in the construction industry. In addition to successes as a designer and general contractor, I’ve spent a lifetime sharing my other Renaissance Man qualities through the performing arts and culinary arts.

After the conclusion of my thirty-year marriage, and also marking the start of a journey to finally explore my sexuality, I punctuated my interest in food by completing two two-year associates degrees, one in culinary arts and the other in baking and pastry arts, in just twenty months. I am a very proud grandparent to a truly extraordinary boy child and maintain an unparalleled relationship with my two adult children and former wife.
