The author is a care worker and a person who has an overactive imagination. He always wanted to write a book, so in his fifties, he decided to go for it. It’s been an extremely interesting experience, and he’d recommend it to everyone. He likes very little more than spending hours in his local coffee shop and letting his imagination go wild.
This book is about life, death and interfering Gods. It follows the life of Simon and all the baggage that fate dumps on him. As if Simon hasn't got enough to deal with, three mischievous Goddesses decide to take an interest. Simon's life might be mundane and boring but when he makes the decision to write his final book, it ironically liven's up. Will Simon have any regrets in the end? Will Fatima be able to successfully juggle her job in her parent's fish and chip shop with life as a jihadi warrior? And also, will Lachesis ever be comfortable in her toga?
