Marja-Liisa Kakkonen

Marja-Liisa Kakkonen has two PhDs in English: one in business and one in education. She has a long career in teaching, administration and supervisory positions in the higher education sector, as well as diverse experience as a non-fiction writer both in Finnish and English. She switched her genre to fiction through university studies of writing, and she self-published this novel in Finnish as her debut novel in March 2022.
