Mal Douglas grew up in Surrey. After studying electrical and electronic engineering at Reading University, he immediately capitalised on his degree by ignoring it completely and went into sales and marketing instead. A career spanning almost forty years in corporate and small business environments has given Mal a diverse technical and creative background. A budding cartoonist since school, Mal now draws on both his experiences and his imagination for his new-found love of writing fiction. Interests of past and present include ocean sailing, playing in a band, eating out and walks around Hertfordshire where he now lives.
