Chasing Shadows
The hit and run has left Nic in a coma with Dan, Mallory and Tess keeping a vigil at her bedside. Unaware of how much her family dynamics are changing, her mum, though also continuing to be a constant presence, has more than just Nic on her mind. And, with talk of Jules Harvey’s continued whereabouts unknown, a stranger, Miles Blakeman, fills that void, making his presence amongst them an uneasy one. But his attention is fixed on Dan, spelling danger, not only for him, but for all. Even Nic, still unconscious, cannot escape this. Dan becomes suspicious though and tries to distance himself. But why is Miles so interested in him and to what end? Will Nic’s family dynamics fracture completely? And, will any of the friends even be able to pull her back from the brink?
