Lynnette Brice

Lynnette was born in 1957, in Christchurch, New Zealand. By profession a teacher, Lynnette began her own formal education late in life, completing a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Feminist Studies, Diploma in Children's Literature, Teaching Diploma and Master's degree in her late thirties and forties. In 2015, Lynnette was awarded Fulbright Distinguished Award in Teaching and she is now undertaking an Education Doctorate. In 2011, Lynnette travelled to Jaipur, India, to work as a volunteer on a project aimed at empowering women. This book, Dancing with Shiva, is an account of that experience.
