I am a fifty-four-year-old mother of two. A single parent. I ‎volunteered in various charities and art projects until the children ‎were both in school. I then went to work. I have worked in a number ‎of professions: support worker, funeral director, duty manager and ‎now children and young persons' counsellor. I love my present ‎position. I wrote this book twelve years ago. It has been in a drawer ‎ever since. My son encouraged me to send the manuscript off. The ‎rest is history. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did writing it.‎
