Llena Skye

Llena Skye lives in the beautiful Scottish Borders, where she enjoys the simple pleasures of country life, surrounded by animals and nature. Her love of farming, wildlife and the countryside provides endless inspiration for the stories she writes. 

Her first children's book, Super Vinnie, was inspired by Vinnie, a real-life Valais Blacknose sheep who became a much-loved character on Llena's farm. Vinnie's cheeky personality, gentle nature and his own little adventures inspired Llena to bring him to life on the pages of her first story. 

Passionate about creating books that encourage imagination, kindness and a love of animals, Llena hopes her stories bring smiles to children and families alike. Many of her characters are inspired by real-life experiences and the wonderful animals she has cared for over the years. 

Through her stories, Llena aims to share the magic of country life and inspire young readers to appreciate the animals, nature and adventures that surround them.
