  • The Eye

When Mimi hears her parents quarrelling, she feels sad. Sitting quietly in the garden beneath a flowering tree, she notices a mysterious bird watching her with its large, steely eye. As the world around her begins to change, Mimi is swept into an enchanting encounter with the bird and its family. Through their struggles, mistakes, and love for one another, she discovers a new way of understanding her feelings. Beautifully told and softly illustrated, The Eye is a thoughtful story about empathy, family, and finding hope, even when things seem difficult. Young readers will be captivated by Mimi's magical journey and the gentle reminder that sometimes seeing through another's eyes can help us make sense of our own world.
