Laki is an amateur painter, a lover of good food and classic literature, and a great companion to her many, real (and imaginary), friends. She delights in turning everyday, run-of-the-mill moments into little whimsical adventures.
She reads late into the night, gazes at the stars, and never says no to a good board game (especially Catan). She loves to travel and eat her way around the world. So far, she has lived in six countries and still finds a little spot of magic wherever she goes; sometimes in a stranger's story, sometimes in a game, and sometimes in her own imagination. Inspired by two beautiful nieces and one playful nephew, she began writing children's stories with each one borrowing a little bit of friendship and laughter from their worlds. Laki hopes you find as much joy in Greenie and Pomburr as much as she did bringing them to life.
Meet Greenie, a spirited young girl with a big imagination and a little tooth trouble. With her trusty imaginary friend, Pomburr, by her side, Greenie goes on a journey filled with misadventures, chaos, and a little bit of science — learning that sometimes being brave is easier than you think. This lively story celebrates imagination, friendship, and finding the strength to handle life’s “ouch” moments.
