Born in Taiwan and raised in Sweden, Kent has lived in Edinburgh since 2014.
He could never have imagined when he was struck by inspiration in 2016 that eight years later he would have written 200,000 words and that his third novel Starry, Starry Night would now be published. The initial idea came to him watching the TV program Long Lost Family. This novel is close to his heart, with themes of mental health and finding peace with the past.
As a writer, his aim has always been to create characters that are relatable and hopefully you'll find them emotionally engaging. Before starting as, a novelist, he had eleven articles on food - published in an English magazine in Brussels - and that laid the foundation for his writing.
Starry, Starry Night is the last of a trilogy following Letting Go and Entitled. He awaits the next step on his creative path.
