Recent Works
Recent Works is a fierce, unvarnished trilogy of poetry and stream-of-consciousness prose born from the trenches of the human psyche. Compiling three powerful movements—DeathsTruth, MUSHROOMS, and MENTAL HOSPITAL 2—this collection rips away the sterile veil of psychiatric institutions to expose the untamable brilliance hiding underneath. Navigating a dizzying haze of heavy prescription drugs, cosmic absurdity, and fractured relationships, the narrator balances a hyper-receptive mind between the sterile trauma of the wards and quiet moments by the Cornish coast. Laced with pitch-black humor, heartbreaking vulnerability, and rhythmic precision, these verses map out an archive of a consciousness fighting to remain intact against overwhelming isolation. Brutally honest, fiercely intelligent, and deeply moving, this haunting anthology captures the electric line separating madness from raw creative genius. It is a brilliant, defiant testament to survival that is utterly impossible to forget.
