Karen is a Civil Engineer. She received her degree in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. She has been drawing her entire life. She has been studying and developing her skills in portraiture, human figures, pastels and oil painting. Currently, she is making a transition from Civil Engineering to Author/Illustrator of picture books. Karen resides in Marin County, California.
