K.L.J. Browne grew up in a small village called Wreningham and began writing short stories as a teenager. She then went on to have her two children, Laura and Glen, and writing stopped for some time. In Laura's teenage years, she became a keen writer too; as the years went on, they always said they would like to write a story together. So, during lockdown, they put some ideas together, and ‘Her' was born.
Leaving Her Behind is about four women as they seek belonging, chase their dreams and hold on to the bonds of sisterhood against a backdrop of change and suspense. Hope clutches the rail, her heart races with fear and excitement.
