    Death Strata - HARDBACK

ON THE NEWLY-INHABITED WORLD OF JANUS, THREE LIVES COLLIDE WITH THE UNKNOWN. A jaded engineer-turned-soldier realizes protecting the colony falls to him when danger finally arrives. A Marsborn geologist’s search for water becomes an all-consuming obsession. And an astrobiologist investigating a mysterious presence uncovers evidence that defies scientific explanation. As strange discoveries mount, the colonists must confront forces that threaten not only their mission, but their understanding of reality itself. "Solaris meets Event Horizon in this darkly compelling sci-fi mystery. Highly recommended."— Anthony Ryan, New York Times bestselling author of Blood Song "Julia Caro takes dread to space in this fast-paced mindbend."— Noah Brisk, author of The Tethered God "Caro is a master at disconcerting the reader... I read with a sense of building dread that had me rushing back to finish at every chance I got."— Jean Swan, author of The Book of Origins
