Joy Alway was born and grew up in Devon. After marrying young, she spent her twenties and thirties living and working as a tour operator in London and Paris before moving to Geneva where she brought up two sons. Now in her fifties, divorced, and with her sons fully grown, she spends her time hiking, writing, and treasuring every experience that helps her evolve and grow.
