John Walker Pattison retired from his post as a senior clinical
nurse specialist in haematology in 2021 since then he has
been writing children's books inspired by his grandson,
Daniel. "Nothing is as important as family," says Pattison.
He is a dedicated Newcastle United supporter, a keen fly
fisherman, and a photographer. But most of all John is a
friend of the Oglala Lakota Sioux nation. Pattison has lived
most of his 67 years in the wonderful seaside town of
South Shields.
Daniel and his best friend Papa head to Splodge City to face Wild Will Hickory Dickory Jock in this hilarious adventure of the Wild West. Splodge City is being bullied by a band of evil gunslingers, determined to get their grubby hands on Papa's book of magic.
