Johan Stiel

Johan Stiel was born in 1977 to two book enthusiasts ‎who at the time worked as a schoolteacher and a ‎social worker in Karlskrona, Sweden, where he grew ‎up and where he now works as a librarian. Before ‎moving back to his hometown, he studied English ‎translation, then library and information science, at ‎Linnaeus University in Växjö, and in 2008, he took a ‎class at Gotham Writers' Workshop in New York ‎while living in Queens.‎
