Since children love patterns and clues, young readers will enjoy discovering each new animal that wakes to the arrival of spring. Science topics include hibernation and other adaptations for cold winter months, animal tracks, the foods that each animal eats, and the day-to-night progression
I Married a Donkey is a story about a little girl who pretends to be married to her best friend, Oliver the donkey. Since children love pretending and animals, this book is relatable for young children. Through simple activities, the girl tells of her affection for the donkey.
