About

Heather Davies

Born in Cumnock/New Cumnock, Ayrshire, Scotland, she moved with her parents to Biddulph, Stoke-on-Trent, in the early 1960s, where the family sought work in the coal mines. Growing up alongside her two younger sisters, with whom she has remained close throughout her life, she enjoyed a happy childhood.

She has shared a long and fulfilling marriage with her soul mate, who happened to live across the road from her. Together, they have a son, a daughter, and five cherished grandchildren.

Now retired after a rewarding career as an Enrolled Nurse, she has always enjoyed writing as a hobby. Although she wrote for many years, she never felt compelled to pursue publication until the release of this book.
