After graduating from Melbourne University, "BA, Dip Ed," I left Australia to do graduate work in both the USA and Canada, where I received an MA from the University of Idaho and a PHD from the University of Wisconsin, then taught extensively at the tertiary level in both countries. Meantime, I was married and had two children. My creative writing began in retirement, part of which was spent in Boise County Idaho where I was inspired to write this work of fiction.
Rough Roads by Frank Whitman is a gripping tale of mystery and survival in the rugged Idaho wilderness. Sheriff Kennedy is faced with a puzzling case of a dead cow on a remote ranch, leading him to a reclusive young man named Danny.
