Elizabeth Ottenfeld is a writer and creative born and bred in
Asheville, North Carolina. Coming from a long line of
Appalachian storytellers, she has a passion for the power of
place and the connection between humans and the outside
world. After graduating from the University of Tennessee with a
Masters of Literature, she spends her day job working as a High
School English teacher and her nights and mornings working as
a writer. She currently lives with her husband, Warren, and
their two pets, Roger and Lady, in Mars Hill, North Carolina.
