Dr. Milton S. Klein received a BS from McGill University and was a Regent Scholar at UC San Diego School of Medicine. Following his cardiology fellowship at Washington University and research at the Hammersmith Hospital in London, Dr. Klein returned to Washington University as an assistant professor. He later became a clinical professor at both Baylor College of Medicine and UT Houston. In addition to his current book, he published Learned by Heart: Dialogues with My Father and Handle with Care: A Doctor's Search for Faith, Fact and Feeling. After thirty-five years in clinical practice, Dr. Klein retired in 2012 to volunteer in medical efforts in Tanzania.
