This is David Hochman's second novel. The first, An Apology to Julia, was published to critical acclaim in the Czech Republic. The son of a prominent political dissident of Prague Spring who risked his life for liberty and truth, and a TV producer mother, he was taught at a young age that some things are worth dying for. He hopes that this novel encompasses the lessons he learned at a young age.
