With no literacy training, his craft has been honed by noting down observations, nuances, facts, lines and rhymes shared via text messages for his own amusement and the general puzzlement of his singular audience. Capturing such musings on paper will end this period of self-indulgence in the hope they will serve to stimulate the imagination of children. In a rapidly changing society where costs are known but value is seldom understood, there is one commodity we all have a responsibility to protect: children reading and being read to.
