Christina Deodat

Christina Deodat was born in Guyana, and immigrated to Ontario, Canada as a shy high school student. She quickly found her inspiration and love of Victorian literature in grade twelve English after reading Austen's Pride and Prejudice. This novel inspired her to pursue a university degree in English and Education. She always viewed writing as a secret passion and longed for an inspiration to start her career as an author. This came after the birth of her son, where she took the elusive Estella and provided her with a story of her own. As the saying goes... the rest is history.
