Celeste Donohue was born and raised in Philadelphia, where she started her performing career at the age of twelve. By the time she was twenty-three, she was on her way to Los Angeles, where she worked as a dancer, singer, actor, and comedian. But it was writing that always came the easiest. Initially writing for magazines, that led to copywriting, blogging, and scriptwriting. After many years of rewriting her resume, she finally got around to writing her first book about all the day jobs she's endured while pursuing a career in entertainment.
When Celeste Donohue moved to Hollywood in 1990 to chase her dream of becoming an entertainer, she never imagined that it would take decades-and 49 day jobs-to find what she was truly searching for.
