Cameron Lavender has always had a penchant for the strange. From The Twilight Zone to Books of Blood, anthological horror and strange tales have always had his attention. He never considered himself creative; that spark just never hit. He had a wild imagination but no outlet – until one day, something just clicked, and he couldn’t stop writing. Liminal Reflection is a composite of some of the strange ideas that crept into his mind while he was working on other projects. He noted them down to get them out of his system until, eventually, they became a thing unto themselves.
Time slips. Grief echoes. Reality bends where you least expect it. From ghost towns that breathe to dreams that outgrow their dreamers, Liminal Reflection explores the thin places — the thresholds where the world falters, memory fractures, and something quietly impossible waits on the other side. A man steps off a train into a city where clocks refuse to move. A woman discovers her tears belong to a life she can no longer remember. A forgotten engineer wakes centuries too late in a future that no longer needs him. A killer learns that death is not the end — not for his victim, and not for him. And in the Bone Chapel, where the rules are carved in dust and consequence, every question has a price. Just be careful. Some doors don’t open the same way twice.
