About

C. A. Ashitey

Carol Ashitey is a retired primary school special needs teacher, author, mother and grandmother that enjoys writing fast-paced fiction across a range of genres from her home in the picturesque Garw Valley where she lives with her beautiful black cat - Saffie.

Her reviews show that her readers love her imaginative world-building, descriptive style, colourful characters and the frequent plot twists that keep the pages turning and leave them wanting more.

She also writes poetry and uses this as a therapeutic and cathartic tool for expressing and releasing powerful emotions, memories, and experiences - examples of these, along with her blog can be found on her website: cashiteyauthor.wordpress.com together with updates on her current works in progress.

C. A. Ashitey openly welcomes feedback and comments about her characters, the settings in which they live and the events that bring them to life.  Just knowing that somewhere in the world, somebody has thoroughly enjoyed what she has created provides a deep sense of happiness and accomplishment, and for that she is eternally grateful.
