Bronwyn Naish's inspiration for this book all come from a trip to Wales, where it rained and all the slugs and snails come out to play. Bronwyn's profession is a florist by trade who loves nature since she was a young girl. Bronwyn and her sisters have written about the heart buds to show their children, how magical and special nature is to our world and to hopefully encourage children to see the beauty as well.
