Bridget Smith is the author of the novel Death of an Alaska Princess (St. Martin's Press), a gardening book (Firsthand Press), as well as essays, stories and articles in a number of publications including The Boston Globe, Christian Science Monitor, Fireweed Press, laJoie Journal and Eclectica. Her many radio commentaries have aired on local and statewide public radio. Bridget and her husband are long-time residents of Juneau, Alaska.
