Anne-Marie Stone

Anne-Marie lives in Dorset with her husband, Jeff, and their cats, Amber and Jasper. She has always been passionate about books, and now has a library of over four hundred titles. C.S. Lewis's Narnia stories and William Horwood's Duncton Chronicles fostered a love of animal characters. It was their resilience in the face of life-threatening events that inspired her. More recently the lovable and poignant adventures of The River Singers fuelled her ambition to write her own book. She particularly loves foxes and this is how her debut novel The Starfox was conceived.
