Anne-Marie lives in Dorset with her husband, Jeff, and their cats, Amber and Jasper. She has always been passionate about books, and now has a library of over four hundred titles. C.S. Lewis's Narnia stories and William Horwood's Duncton Chronicles fostered a love of animal characters. It was their resilience in the face of life-threatening events that inspired her. More recently the lovable and poignant adventures of The River Singers fuelled her ambition to write her own book. She particularly loves foxes and this is how her debut novel The Starfox was conceived.
In the heart of Forestland, young Pacem lives peacefully with his family – until the great disappearances begin. One by one, animals keep vanishing, and all signs point to the crows and their ruthless leader, Malo. But what no one knows is that something darker is stirring, something only a Starfox can face. But, the problem is… there hasn’t been one for generations. Until one night, when a star falls from the sky, its light shining straight onto Pacem’s paw. in The Starfox by Anne-Marie Stone, Pacem discovers that fate may have chosen him to restore balance to the forest. Joined by his friends and an unexpected ally, he must uncover the truth behind the curse and confront the power threatening to consume them all. The stars are watching. Has the Starfox returned?
