Alexi James

Alexi James is a writer, journalist and actor. She written for The San Francisco
Chronicle, Beyond Type 1 and other digital publications. Alexi graduated from The
New School University, and studied acting at the Lee Strasberg Institute. She is also
a theatre producer who recently co-produced Here Lies Love on Broadway. Having
been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of fourteen, Alexi is also an advocate
for type 1 diabetes awareness. Alexi currently lives in Manhattan with her two cats,
Bernard and Bianca.
