Alex Ward

The author is a primary school teacher with a passion

for reading and writing children’s novels. She wrote this

story when she was a child, as The Lamppost Men was

something she believed to be true. She rewrote the book as

an adult, as she wanted to write a book with a true ‘child’s

mind’. She is an active runner and is very into fitness and

eating healthily. Her biggest passion is travel. She and her

husband use their school holidays to travel the world
